Can retinol serum cause purging or breakout?
It all depends on your skin type. It takes time & patience to get your skin used to retinol. Retinol increases the process of cell turnover which can cause purging or breakouts but should settle within 2-3 weeks. Start introducing retinol slowly which is twice or thrice a week & then increase it to daily when your skin is ready for it.

What is the recommended age, and who can use retinol serum?
You can start using retinol from the early to mid-20s with an on & off routine. But should incorporate it by the 30s.

Is it safe to use everyday?
If your skin is tolerating Retinol well after three weeks of use every three days, move up to every other day, then every day. As a rule, the more irritated your skin is, the less frequently you should apply it. If your skin responds well, you can start applying Retinol every night.

What are the side effects of retinol?
Side effects of using retinol may include:
